We have a photojournalistic style and like to describe the way we photograph as laid back and natural. Since we have this naturalistic style, we try to do as little "posing" as possible; instead, we use prompts (like “what color are moms eyes” or my favorite, “belly laugh like santa”) to get more authentic-looking photos. Photographing in this way is also way more fun!

Absolutely! We will send you a wardrobe guide before your session to help you prepare.

We know that waiting for photos can we hard, so we will give you a sneak peek within a few days after your session to hold you over until we get the whole gallery edited.

A session typically takes around 4 weeks to edit.

We have a couple of choices here!

At-home: For a newborn session, I typically suggest an in-home session. It’s more laid back and with a new baby, much easier than packing things up and traveling to a location in the mountains. If baby needs to eat, or needs a diaper change, everything is right there!

Outdoors- I have a list of locations that I have shot at in the past and a bucket list of locations that I would love to go to! If you have a place in mind, I’m always open to new locations!

Please know that I do not expect you all to be be models. If your kiddo is having a meltdown, no worries, we’ll just take a break! Trying to get your kids to act perfectly during a shoot isn't always going to happen, so try focusing on what you can control and then just let them be themselves. I want you to play around with them so that I can capture some authentic smiles. My favorite pictures are the ones with families just walking, hugging, playing, or snuggling.

Emergencies happen and kids get sick. I’m usually pretty chill and can reschedule your session no problem, but let me know right away! I know that Colorao weather can also be unpredictable, but I promise that even when it’s snowing, we can make some pretty magical photos!
